FULL SELF-CONSUMPTION,

RENEWABLE ENERGY SIMPLE & FOR EVERYBODY!

There is a growing demand for household consumption to be more renewable, but there is currently no compact and cost-effective local energy production solution for small dwellings, without public support (subsidies, green certificates, cash-back, cancellation of the prosumer tariff).

Photovoltaic installations are only relevant from a certain size since they must be connected to the network, with the related fixed costs. Profitability only comes with strong self-consumption,

but when the sun is shining, the houses are empty.

​Therefore, the residential self-consumption is only +/- 35%!

 

Heating domestic hot water via thermosolar panels is possible but it only works efficiently in very sunny countries. In Central Europe, these installations are expensive, bulky, and require significant maintenance.

Heat pumps are inefficient in winter, expensive and fragile, bulky, and require heavily insulated air ducts, to only reduce electricity bills by 50%!

Thanks to the Wanit water heater, connected to a small photovoltaic field, it is not only 85% of the energy bill dedicated to domestic hot water that is saved, but it is also a much smaller investment.  The installation cost is much lower (more than half compared to a solar thermal installation) and all administrative, metering or network connection costs disappear.

 

In large residential condominiums, managing the allocation of solar panel production between apartments is complex and costly, and therefore almost never implemented. Moreover, in these buildings with a common boiler room, the energy losses of the hot water loop are enormous. Thanks to Wanit, this hot water loop can be completely interrupted.
